![]() Fluttering is not coming from the BOV, but the air fliter. Save your money to buy a good set of injectors Here's a little article I put together for SR20 BOV's. So there's really no need to mess with aftermarket BOV's in most cases. I drove away and i could vaguely hear the BOV, but I could definatly hear that fluttering. The stock BOV on most Nissans can actually be made to work very well and hold increased boost with a small modification. Statrted up the car and I reved it expecting to hear that sweet sound we all crave, but all I was hearing was surge I checked all the connections and all was good. ![]() So I got the BOV on, couldn't recirculate it because I didn't have the right angled hose so I left the recirc. I was getting compressor surge all the way back to the hobby shop. So I drove away slowly trying to keep the boost at a minimum since I didn't have a BOV. I told him I could finish up the install since I have access to an auto hobby that is on base (I'm in the military). When I got there I soon discovered that I did not have the retaining clip So they took off my stock recirculation valve, capped off the bunghole with a piece of aluminum and welded on the flange but didn't cut the hole in the pipe. ![]() Okay, so I decided to just take my car to McKinney Motorsports in Temecula CA, and have a proffesional install the BOV.
